AMU VC mourns the tragic death of Gen Bipin Rawat

Professor Tariq Mansoor, Vice-Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University deeply mourned the tragic death of India's first Chief of Defence Staff, Gen Bipin Rawat.

"General Rawat symbolized exemplary gallantry and invincible insight into strategic planning and execution and his long dedicated and selfless service to the armed forces will always be remembered," said Professor Mansoor.

The Aligarh fraternity joins the nation in mourning the unfortunate death of one of India’s bravest sons. His death is an irreparable loss to the Nation, he concluded.
