Communal harmony and fund raising week organised at AMU
Aligarh, November 26: Dr Md. Alamgir, Principal of the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) City Girls High School-Qazi Para, the school teachers and other staff members gave altruistic donations and raised awareness on fostering ethos of communal harmony and national integration in the ‘Communal Harmony and Fund Raising Week’ observations at the AMU City Girls High School.
Dr Alamgir spoke on the necessity of promoting fraternity among people.
He said: “Peace and harmony can bring a peaceful and stable order to society, and they are a necessary condition for the survival and development of mankind. It is the responsibility of one and all to ensure that integrity, brotherhood and communal harmony are maintained”.
School teachers, Tanveer Jahan and Ziaul Haque spoke on National integration and the importance of living together.
Saima Nadeem conducted the programme and Farzana Nazeer helped organising the observations.
