There is a lot happening in Aligarh over next ten days. What you need is to mark your dates and spare your time.
10th FILMSAAZ 2017
Filmsaaz is an International Film Festival of Short Films, Documentaries for Non-feature films and Music Videos. First of its kind in India to be organized by a University, it was first held in 2008 in Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), and was organised by the University Film Club of AMU. This year the guests include Sharib Hashmi (Actor and Director) and Zeeshan Ayyub (Actor).
When: Friday, February 24 to Monday, February 27. Daily from 2 pm

2nd SIR SYED NATIONAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION 2017
Faculty of Law , Aligarh Muslim University is going to organise 2nd Sir Syed National Moot Court Competition 2017. Three sitting high court judges have given there consent to be part of this mega event.
When: Saturday, February 25 to Sunday, February 26. 9 am to 5 pm

Training and Placement Office, AMU is organising a one day workshop for college and university students to understand the startup ecosystem.

SKYDIVING IN ALIGARH
The Cessna is modified for Skydiving operations. The Cessna will take 30-40 minutes to climb to the jump altitude of 10,000 feet. The free-fall shall last 20-30 seconds, then parachute will open and in another 4-8 minutes the person will be back on the ground.
When: Monday, February 27. 2 pm to 5 pm.

NATIONAL SEMINAR ON RECENT ADVANCES AND CHALLENGES IN GEOCHEMISTRY, ENVIRONMENTAL AND SEDIMENTARY GEOLOGY
Department of Geology, AMU is organising a one day national seminal. Speakers from all round the country shall participate and present their research papers.
When: Monday, February 27. 9 am to 5pm

AMU LITERARY FESTIVAL 2017
University Debating and Literary Club (UDLC) of AMU presents its third edition of AMU Literary Festival. It is a melting pot of art, culture and literature which attracts writers, poets, journalists and social activists from the world around. This year guests include Ashok Vajpayee (writer and critic), Tushar Gandhi (writer and Great grandson of Mahatma Gandhi), RJ Naved and many more which itself explains the diversity of the event.
When: Friday, March 3- Sunday, March 5. Daily 9 am to 8 pm

ASAAS'17
It is a three day fest by Department of Business Administration, AMU. The fest aims at interacting with the other departments of the university by providing them with a platform to participate in a variety of cultural and management based events. The highlight of the event will be Tom Alter’s play: Lal Quile Ka Aakhiri Mushaira.
When: Saturday, March 4- Monday, March 6. Daily 11 am.
